Furry Necks was started by myself Lara Smith in 2011. My aim was to make collars that were stylish, durable and just that bit different from other collars out there.

I'm a one woman business so every item is crafted to order by me in my small studio in rural North Yorkshire.

I pride myself in making beautifully stylish items for dogs of all sizes. 

I just love to work with Harris Tweed, using this beautiful hand woven cloth in the majority of my products. This stunning cloth comes direct form the weavers in The Outer Hebrides.

With many years experience working in Art, Design and Textiles and with a Fine Art degree I am passionate about colour, design, creativity and handmade quality products.
